Came across this interesting article on the situation in Africa. http://venturesafrica.com/tag-sdgs-why-africa-needs-to-deal-with-food-waste/ What is key is the need to reduce post harvest losses and create and enabling environment for different grades of produce to reach consumers at different levels instead of going to waste. In terms of government influence incentives would be a better way to go rather than controls! What are your thoughts?
